He's Here!!!

Lucas Charles Boyd has arrived 3 weeks early!!! 7 pounds and 13 ounces, 20 inches long.  Labor and Delivery went wonderful...I will post a detailed story soon.  We feel so blessed to have a healthy and happy baby boy!!!  We have appreciated all the thoughts and prayers our family and friends have sent our way the past 10 weeks.

36 Weeks and 6 Days Pregnant

22 Days to Go!!!  The weekend has been beautiful.  Mike is making ribs tonight to bbq...very excited.

Easter, Doctors, and 36 Weeks

Easter was fantastic!!!  The day was beautiful.  Mike and I spent time with both sides of the family.  We had breakfast with my parents and dinner with Mike's parents.  It was a fun day and we ate a ton.

We went to the doctors on Monday and everything looks great.  I am between 1 and 2 cm.  I am on modified bedrest this week (short outings and then back to bed) and will be on no bedrest and no medicine this Monday (yay!!!).  The doctor is very happy that Lucas is still in my belly and they will no longer try to stop my labor when it starts again.

I am 36 weeks pregnant.  As always I can't believe it.  It seems like yesterday that Mike and I found out we were expecting our first baby.  We can't wait to meet our baby boy :)

My wonderful husband turns 28 years old today. I can't even believe how fast time has gone by. We meet when he was just 21 years old, working at Ralphs and driving a big black truck. Oh how the times have changed. His present was a psp (playstation portable). I thought it would be great for the hospital and for when he travels on business. I'm sure I will have days when I regret the present...just like the days when I regret his wedding present of a playstation 3...are you seeing the pattern? :) He definitely deserves it!!!
