Can't get enough...

I can't get enough of watching these two together.

Lucas loves her so much and Ellie follows her brother with her eyes whenever he is in her sight.

Some of the cute things Lucas does/says to Ellie...

-"I love you Ellie"

-Kisses her constantly

-Asks where she is at whenever she leaves his sight

-"Good boy Ellie"

-If she cries finds the nearest person to tell or just yells, "mommy baby Ellie cry"

-Covers her with blankets

-Turns on the fireplace because baby Ellie is cold

St. Patty's Day with the Piots

We spent St. Patty's Day at the Piot's gorgeous new house. We had the best Mexican food! Yum it was so good.

It was so fun to catch up, watch Lucas play with Hailey and Michael and to introduce them to Ellie. Lucas did not want to leave and keeps asking me when we can go back, which I respond hopefully soon. There is nothing like spending time with good friends.

2 month check-up

Ellie:

Weight: 10 lbs 12 ounces

Height: 23 inches

Lucas:

Weight: 15 lbs 4 ounces

Height: 23.5 inches

Our Big Boy

Where has the last 3 years gone? In one month Lucas will be three and we just can't believe it. He is the most loving, outgoing and smart boy. We love how polite he is and what an awesome big brother he is. I could spend my entire day hugging and kissing him if he let me.

Morning Routine

Every morning around 5:30-6:00 Ellie wakes up to eat. Then around 7:00-7:30 Lucas wakes up. While we wait for Lucas to wake up Ellie and I talk and spend time together. Our little girl is a pretty good night time sleeper but loves to be up all day. When Lucas wakes up the first thing he always asks is, "where is Ellie?" and "where is Daddy?" Then we all lay in bed and watch cartoons until Lucas announces that he's leaving to go play in his playroom. That is my cue to go downstairs with Ellie and make breakfast. This morning we had pancakes and orange juice. When breakfast is ready I call for Lucas and he comes down to continue watching cartoons and to eat. By this time its between 8:00-9:00 and its time for Ellie to take a short nap.

Ellie loves to go on walks with Lucas to the park. Especially in the beautiful weather we have been having.

Ellie has so many sweet face expressions. She loves to smile and talk to us.
